Jean working at her desk on a Friday afternoon!

Jean Still has been the secretary of Tescott Schools for eight years and counting. “She’s the first person you would see in the morning.” Dawson Lee, a freshman stated. She always has a smile on her face even if the phones ringing, a students needing help, a teacher making copies asking her questions. Honestly we couldn’t do this without her. “She is an integral part of our school” quoted Mr.Glenn the Math teacher.

However she has not always been at Tescott she used to help on her Father’s farm. Jean is a very hard worker for any job she takes on. She always knew that Tescott was the right place to be she went to school here and also graduated  “when I moved back to the surrounding area I knew I wanted to send my children here,” Jean shared. She did exactly that and sent Riley, a freshman and Clayton, a preschooler back to her alma mater.

For this job you have to be a good multitasker be quick on your feet and remember a lot of things. Greta Thomas, a para of seventeen years here at Tescott has nothing but positive things to say about Jean. Her favorite thing about her is her “straightforward personality.” It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been here, Jean’s personality really makes alot of people happier.

Mr.Glenn, the math teacher, has already appreciated and noticed what all she does for our school. His experience quoted “It has been pleasant and I’ve laughed quite a bit.”

While interviewing different teachers all of them have a positive experience with Jean. Mrs.Ehlers responds with a smile on her face, she loves how Jean “Deals with all the students, teachers and guests who come into the office.”

Every student has been treated amazingly by Jean. “She is always available for you,” said Breonna a seventh grader. And she is always quick with a hug if needed. This year Jean shares she misses “the hugs ...from the students!” Even though the hugs can’t be done this year Jean is excited to “watch the students grow from Pre K to senior year!”

Jean, we sincerely appreciate all you do for our school. We couldn’t do this without you. This year is hard but you’ve adjusted to all the changes. Thank you!
